Each year, TAITRA holds more than 30 international trade shows (Show Calendar). These events attracted 10,000 exhibitors, both domestic and foreign, and saw attendance by a total of 80,000 foreign buyers. These shows have assisted Taiwan business to enhance global trading ties and promoted the development of the show industry.
COMPUTEX TAIPEI takes on a fresh objective with a brand new position of “Building Partnerships in Internet Computing Ecosystems” with four feature themes: IoT Applications, Business Solutions, Innovation and Startups, and Gaming. Presented for the first time were the InnoVEX and SmarTEX exhibit areas which focus on IoT applications including smart retail, virtual reality, 3D printing technologies and all-inclusive business solutions.
Taipei CYCLE is an ideal launching platform for high-end bicycles. TAIPEI CYCLE acts as the trade event for the industry to connect with international markets. The slogan "A New Worldview on Cycling" reinforces the positioning of TAIPEI CYCLE, for staging the latest cycling products, for understanding market trends and the future of the industry, and for stimulating interactions leading to innovative designs. This inclusive approach to exhibitions, activities and forums helped the show to strengthen its lead in innovation across the industry.
Taipei AMPA, AutoTronics Taipei, EV Taiwan and MOTORCYCLE Taiwan represent comprehensive supply chains in the automotive and motorcycle industries. The show runs in conjunction with automotive electronics, Internet of Vehicles, and smart automotive telematics, which underscores Taiwan’s competitiveness in the latest technology. The simultaneous unfolding of four joint shows multiplies the benefits by bringing maximum purchasing and business opportunities with the largest assortment of exhibits for automotive/motorcycle parts and accessories and electric vehicles.
Taipei International Food Show (Food Taipei), Foodtech & Pharmatech TAIPEI, Taipei PACK, Taiwan HORECA and HALAL Taiwan jointly exhibit for a mega 5-in-1 show that covered the production and manufacturing sectors of the food industry. Food Taipei aims to establish a fresh exchange platform for Eastern and Western culinary cultures by annually increasing international participation. 36 national pavilions contributed to the approval of Food Taipei as the best international food trade platform in Asia.
Trade Shows increasingly heading to Central & Southern Taiwan
In addition to the exhibitions in Taipei, TAITRA has also organizes trade shows in central and southern Taiwan in accordance with local features and industry cluster developments. The International Tea, Coffee and Bakery Show were held in Taichung, while Kaohsiung hosted the Taiwan International Boat Show, Fastener Taiwan, Taiwan International Water Show, Kaohsiung Food Show, and Taiwan International Fisheries & Seafood Show.
